His Majesty's government recognizes the volitility of the situation and will maintain a watchful eye on events. In addition, warning have been issued to those travelling to Batavia as well as to Mayaland shipping passing through the region.

Scanian Mayor Killed Collaborated with BRA; Alleged SV Involvement Disproved by New Evidence

Vlaanderen, Batavië
The Staatsveiligheid Department II, which deals with foreign operations, has concluded an intense investigation into the alleged involvement of an SV agent in the killing of a Scanian mayor. Scanian authorities have blindly claimed that the mayor was killed by a man under the service of the SV. This has been disproved after it was discovered that an ex-military Batavian vigilante illegally crossed the border and murdered the mayor, apparently for the mayor's collaboration with BRA rebels.

The SV's Department II has known about Scanian and Arendaaler BRA sympathisers and supporters, but rarely at the government level. The mayor of the small town where the murder took place had extensive and active contacts with known Batavian Republican Army insurgents and arms smugglers. He was, at times, under surveillance by the SV mostly in order to track down his Batavian associates. Records in the suspects files at SV headquarters in Vlaanderen show he knew more than 10 Batavian BRA members with further documented evidence showing of his approval for the BRA's Scanian branches to operate within the town and conduct weapons deals there.

While the SV has now disproved their involvement in last week's murder, they sent a note of condolence to the victim's family, vowing to crack down on illegal border jumpers.

SV Begins Collection of Radios and Televisions in Rural Areas

The Staatsveiligheid has begun to collect all television and radio sets outside of major cities in an effort to prevent foreign propaganda from reaching the people. Travelling door to door with the aid of local police forces, SV officers are requesting citizens to provide the paperwork and permits for the televisions and radios and to surrender them temporarily for state security. Citizens living in Vlaanderen, Hilversum and major population centres in some of the densely populated southeast, will be allowed to keep only radios for an unspecified period of time. The same procedure was to take place in Spa, but due to rebel resistance and control of the city by the BRA, this has been rendered impossible for the time being.

Officials fear that Scania and other AGE accomplice states will broadcast capitalist propaganda over television and radio waves after they destroy the transmitters that block their signals along the borders. Put in place twenty years ago, the blocking transmitters are an unfortunate easy target for enemy armies and lie close to the borders. SV officials said that they are doing this now because their services and force will be needed once an invasion, which they believe imminent, occurs.

'We have to do this now, because once the war starts all police and SV forces will be assisting the People's Military in repelling the capitalist aggressors.'

We condemn the actions by the Batavien regime. Furthermore we extend our support to Scania, once again.

All Belmontien citizens are advised to leave Batavie in the next 24 hours and all Batavien citizens in Belmont are to leave Belmont in the same time period.

We advise Belmont to not interfere in our internal affairs. We also find it unjust for our citizens to be expelled from your country. If that remains the case relations will take a further hit as we view the expulsion of our citizens abroad as an unnecessary and direct provocation. We have no ill intent towards Belmont and again advise them to cease their sabre rattling for a series of events that has nothing to do with Paris.

We regret the actions taken by Batvië. The people of Batavië has the right for information and will be capable enough to judge what is news and what is propaganda.

We as well regret the actions taken by Belmont, as an individual cannot be held responsable for the actions of a government or a whole nation. If Paris proceeds to expell all citizens of Batavië, the Papal States are prepared to host a number of them if they might have problems to enter their home country if the conflict grows out of proportions. We just remind those refugees to the fact foreigners are not allowed to conduct any political actions within the Papal States.

Due to the restricted size of the Batavien Embassy, it would be near impossible for us to manage any number of Bataviens in any case. Were the embassy to be restored no Batavien would be asked to leave.

Additionally, we must state, were the Batavien nationals, in Belmont, wanting to remain in Belmont must express their intent to reside in Belmont as refugees or peace-seekers to the airport authorities.

It is of course unfortunate that media devices are being confiscated, though we can of course indeed see where this regime could be concerned by propaganda portraying Batavië in a negative light. Therefore, we should choose not to condemn this defense tactic, though advise that the implications internally as well as internationally could be disastrous for this estranged Communist state. Whether or not your enemies choose to speak falsities, will not change the fact that your ideological opponents now have more then enough political ammunition to send down range towards Batavië for the duration of this conflict, perhaps years after.

As the tensions between Batavië and the Skånskige Statsunionen has worsened with the ever increasing noise of saber rattling, His Majesty's government, in an effort to safeguard Montelimarian citizens and property, has taken the following measures;
  • Warnings have been issued for those traveling to both countries.
  • Advisories have been issued for those travelling to countries belonging to both the IRB and AGE.
  • Embassies and consulate in both countries will remain open.
  • Though the Royal Navy will maintain their normal patrols in the region, civilian Montelimarian shipping will be advised to rerout when possible.
  • Air flights too will be rerouted to avoid trouble spots in the region.
Depending on the future developments, further measures may be considered.

BREAKING NEWS: General Karel de Graaf Unilaterally Dissolves IRB

Breaking news has reached BPO headquarters that by official decree, General Karel de Graaf, leader of the Bataafsche Volksrepubliek, has unilaterally dissolved the International Revolutionary Bloc. This comes less than a week after Kryobaijan withdrew from the alliance and less than twelve hours after Cyrillica made the same decision. Vangala, the only member country yet to withdraw, will be noted in the official records as the last member of the IRB. The alliance headquarters in Vlaanderen will be vacated tomorrow morning with the assistance of the Metropolitan Police. General de Graaf's office did not comment on the late-night announcement.

Statement by the Royal Chancellor of Oltremare

A blow has been struck in the name of freedom from Red oppression in the guide of utopia. Divided and further weakened, communism is truly on its last legs, and will, God willing, utter its last, dying breath in the coming reign of His Most Serene Highness. We in Oltremare shall pray that the Red beast shall depart from this world in great haste.

Sincerely,
Giuseppe Emmanuel

Free people across all of Europe rejoiced at the message that marked the end of a past era and the entrance into a new one. The system that emerged after the end of the Great War has come to an end.

The magnificent task that was started by our fathers and grandfathers, the erradication of communist tyranny over freedom loving peoples everywhere, is now nearing completion. Millions bled and died for the liberation of their brethren all over the world with the single determination to create a world free from the dictatorial machinations and lies that is the communist scam in all its forms.

One day, when the last communist state collapses and the last people reclaim their lives from the brutal grip of the bureaucrats and the political police once more, their vision will have been realized.

Yours sincerely,
Kihara Itsuki

Those who believed that the International Revolutionary Bloc stood for global communism, in any faculty, are truly deluded vis à vis the nature of the revolutionary Left. Those governments lauding the fall of the IRB as world socialism's collapse should take note that progressive ideologies are blossoming in Cyrillica, Kryobaijan, and Carentania, well outside of the IRB. Furthermore, those non-IRB states shall continue to stand for the liberation of all peoples from all matrices of domination.

Mayapan, Cakchiquel

Just like the global reaction from the world, Cakchiquel also welcomes the collapse of the IRB bloq. Socialism and Capitalism fail to recognize the true grey realities inherent in a postmodern society. The cancer of Marxism and Capitalism continues to damage our globe. By 2050 a vast amount of ecological life will cease to exist due to the ecological disaster of world wide pollution. People need to eschew pointless man made constructs such as racism and faith based salvation, fuedalism has no place in contemporary times. The Emperor has personally given his emphatic support to those who actively reject Bolshevik regimes with armed defiance. It is time for the oppressed peoples of Batavie to give up the delusion of Marxist authoritarinism and focus on maintaining Justice, the key to the strength and health of any society. Only when social and ecological justice is met, can a society experience true prosperity. The beautiful truths of justice shall outlast Capitalism, Marxism and Christ.

We find ourselves on the same line as our esteemed Oikawan allies in response to the collapse of the IRB. We can only express joy after hearing that one of the most backwards and corrupt alliances has ceased to exist, hopefully ending an era of international communism and IRB sponsored terrorism.

While we recognize that the dismantlement of the IRB does not mean that the leftist ideologies and the dictators who impose them will disappear or even lessen their grip upon their country's society, we see this as a great step towards a better Europe.

Politburo Members & General De Graaf Flee Country; Martial Law Declared, Elections Forthcoming

Vlaanderen, Batavië
All seven members of the Politburo have reportedly fled the country early this morning leaving most ministries leaderless prompting the military to temporarily step in to govern the country. The head of the Ground Forces, Navy and Air Force are also reported to be missing, possibly joining the Politburo members abroad. General Karel de Graaf's whereabouts are also unknown at this time. The transition military government has released this message to the country:

People of Batavië, your leaders have left you to your doom and peril. The military, acting always in the interest of the People, has stepped in to fill the void of power. Fear not, we intend for these emergency measures, listed below, to be as temporary as possible. Elections will be held before the end of the next month.

  • Martial Law has been declared nation-wide to instil order and protect against BRA terrorist attacks.

  • A curfew in the cities of Vlaanderen, Hilversum, De Grenz and Poortstad will be introduced tomorrow night beginning at 21.00 lasting until 04.00. This will be revoked upon the completion of elections.

  • Democratic elections to elect the new leaders and type of government of Batavië will take place on Friday, 12. March 2010. These elections will be open to all men and women at or above the age of 17 so long as valid identification is shown.

  • The transitional government invites the Council of Nations to send a neutral election monitoring delegation to Batavië up to a week in advance of the election. It will not be hindered in any way and is, in fact, formally requested.

  • Civilians residing north of the separation line should take care to remain at home as often as possible. Military operations to pacify BRA resistance forces in and around Spa will be initiated to provide a more peaceful environment leading up to the elections.

With solidarity, respect and the hope for a free future of the Batavian people,

General Alex de Witte
Colonel Piet van Dam
