President Rodriguez to Run for Re-Election

This afternoon, President Manuel Rodriguez reported to the country that he will be seeking a second term as president of Frescania.

The announcement comes days after the Democrats picked former president Daniel Nurman as their candidate for the highest office.

President Manuel Rodriguez’s decision seems to have been influenced by the Democrats takeover of the National Assembly.

The President told the media that after a long discussion with his family, “I have decided to run for re-election for the presidency of the Republic. Our nation is at the crossroad of time and I will do my best to put her on the right path”.

The announcement comes the in the eve of the Democratic takeover of the National Assembly, which has made Pierre Chomirac Chancellor-Elect. Experts say that while the relationship between Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Chomirac is cordial, they highly differ on the role Frescania should play in international affairs.

The Socialist Party swiftly endorsed the President’s decision, calling on the citizens “to give President Rodriguez a second term that will continue the outstanding work he has done for our Republic”.

With both the Democratic and Socialist candidates decided, it is unknown if the Liberal and Freedom Parties will pick candidates. While in the past they have done so, the two minor parties have likewise endorsed one of the primary candidates.

The presidential election will take place on the 15th of February, 1953. The victor will be president for one whole year beginning on March 1953. Whoever wins the election, that individual would have to deal with an isolationist government and the situation in Bantyr.

Pierre Chomirac Becomes Chancellor

This morning, Pierre Chomirac took office as Chancellor of Frescania after being elected by the new National Assembly.

This is the first time in three years that a Democrat holds the Chancellery.

Chancellor Pierre Chomirac will have a hard work ahead due to the economic climate of the country.

The new Chancellor told members of the Assembly that he will do everything within his power “to stair our glorious Republic towards the righteous path of progress. We shall always be the beacon of the people’s will in Himyar and Europe.”

The new Democratic National Assembly has a daunting task ahead as recent figures show a possible slowdown of the economy. With economic uncertainty throughout the world, Frescanian businesses are refusing to invest in the economy.

Chancellor Chomirac told the Assembly that his first goal is “to restore our economic towards growth. This government will do anything within its power to make sure that jobs are created and that everyone has a fair chance in our economic system.”

Chomirac has replaced former Chancellor Miguel Carmelas, who was the head of government for the past three years. Under his tenure, the Socialist Party ruled the Federal Government unopposed.

However, Frescanians are not done with elections. With both presidential candidates picked, the Socialist and Democratic candidates for the presidency are touring the nation to convince their fellow citizens to give them a chance to become the nation’s next Commander-in-Chief.

As one of its first bills, Chancellor Pierre Chomirac has put up for debate a stimulus package worth ₣30 million.

Said package is a key component of the Chancellor’s domestic agenda.

The new Chancellor called on members of the Assembly to “vote in favor of this package so that our economic can begin its path towards growth”. Chomirac’s stimulus package is a key component of the Chancellor’s domestic agenda. National Assembly Approves Stimulus Package

This morning, the National Assembly approved Chancellor Pierre Chomirac’s stimulus package worth ₣30 million.

The stimulus bill is expected to boost economic growth.

This is Chancellor Pierre Chomirac’s first bill as the new head of government.

In a vote of 435 to 190, the National Assembly’s approval Chancellor Chomirac’s stimulus package, paving the way towards government intervention into the economy. The government has stated that their first priority is getting the economy growing again. In a separate statement, the Bank of Frescania has also stated that they will lower interest rate to ease lending.

The stimulus package, which is designed to cost ₣30 million Frescanian dollars, will expand the national welfare system’s coffins and create a requirement to work for any Frescanians that want to maintain their benefits. It also provides states with funds to rebuild their infrastructure. Finally, the package has grandfathered in higher taxes through income, welfare and VAT taxes that will take affect once the economy fully recovers.

This is Chancellor Chomirac’s first bill as premier. Although moderate socialists, including Minority Leader Cesar Vizquel, voted for the bill, the hardliners rejected the bill, illustrating the Socialist Party’s weakness ahead of February’s presidential elections.

Maduro Calls on Danmark to “Backdown”

Minutes ago, Henrique Gonzalez Maduro, the Republic’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs, has called on the Kingdom of Danmark to “back down from its aggressive stance against Agderike”.

The statement comes as the Succession Crisis continues to expand beyond the Monarchies’ borders.

Secretary of Foreign Affairs Henrique Maduro has said that Frescania is willing to deploy troops in Agderike.

Secretary Maduro told reporters minutes ago that the latest statement by Danmark on the decision by Agderike’s legislature was “out of proportion” and that “the Republic will not stand for such aggressive behavior against a country that has just lost its ruler.”

The Secretary stated that Frescanian forces in the Commonwealth of Ceosrath and in Suionia “have been put on high alert” and that President Rodriguez has dispatched a naval group from Ceosrath into the Gothic Sea "to closely monitor the situation."

“Let it be clear that we will do all that is within our power to assure that our troops anywhere in the world are protected” continue Secretary Maduro, “we also strongly urge the Lagting to approve a resolution that would allow European powers to station troops on its soil to protect her against any possible aggression.”

When asked if Frescania would contribute in the event the Lagting passes such a measure, Secretary Maduro stated that “the President and the Government will strongly consider such an invitation.”

We understand the alarm expressed by Fortaleza Real and the issues it raises over possible destabilisation in Occupied Bantyr, but this calls on us to state the position of the Royal Council as the two kingdom's, the Danish government, and the acts of the Council are separate issues.

On Danmark itself, we can give all assurances that the Realm shall not seek to land armed forces upon the Kingdom of Agderrige and that this never entertained as being necessary, nor was it desired. Indeed, even if the Crisis of the Agder Succession is removed from the picture for one moment, it is with considerable obviousness that this Realm has never indeed landed forces in Scania for some centuries and it is something we are loathed to ever do. Only in the necessity of stabilising a war-torn nation in that region would be consider that, but that is in the interests of the maintenance of the peace. On that basis only would forces be deployed to Agderrige if the nation tears itself into civil war ~ nothing more, nothing less ~ and this is a measure more of benevolence and Scanian brotherhood, certainly not insinuations of 'imperialism'.

Regarding the Lagting, we believe that Fortaleza Real is misreading the pronouncements from that assembly body and also the position of the Royal Council. It is clearly documented and laid-out that the current Lagting, a body of forty members based on total equality of the sexes ~ twenty men and their wives but with men taking the precedence ~ is constituted to be an approximate litmus test of popular opinion, a limited vox populi body, but that it does not hold legislative powers. At current, supreme powers reside with the monarch, which is currently King Frederik I of Agder and Fey, King Frederik III of Danmark, with only very limited ones devolved to the Lagting. Not that it is wished for those powers to be continually held by the monarch and it is understood by the Danish government and by the Council that the King himself does not wish that. Powers would only continue to reside with the King if and only popular will wishes for that to happen. If not, the Council has already stated that a proper legislative parliament, as a successor to the Lagting, or an expanded Lagting, should acquire them to enable it to legally legislate.

As stated and upon proper analysis of the law there, the current Lagting does not possess these powers and it is as such that its announcements are unconstitutional acts and an attempt at acquiring and arrogating powers to itself which it has no formal right to self-acquire. Only these can technically be devolved by the monarch. In this framework, the Royal Council, administering the powers held by the King, has quashed the Lagting's pronouncements which can only be legal if the Lagting is given the powers to pass laws renouncing the Accession and which would be water-tight and duly respected. As such, the Royal Council is technically the body that holds most of the state powers, held by the Monarch himself, though the Royal Council has indicated a wish to create a stronger Lagting thereby removing the need for the Royal Council to exercise these powers, as well as making the King a constitutional monarch and not an authoritarian one, permitting proper democratic roots to flourish.

But until the Lagting is given these powers and passes a law removing the King, the King, in every-day practice by the Royal Council, will continue to act as the Holder of the Powers due to law. This is the responsible and right thing to do. Maintenance of law and order is highly important and cannot be overturned by whim. It is also due legal accession law that the King is the inheritor of the position of Monarch of Agder and Fey, again something which cannot be ignored overnight, and for that we suggest analyising the very reality that exists.

I hope I have done enough to pour waters over the flames of passion on the issue and have done enough to provide a proper background of the law and settlement in Agder and Fey.

President Rodriguez Announces Further Support for Ceosrath

In an statement released this morning by the Miraflores palace, President Manuel Rodriguez announced an increase in military support for Ceosrath.

The announcement comes as the Republican Navy’s 3rd Fleet position itself in the Gothic Sea due to the Agderike Succession Crisis.

As part of the 3rd Fleet, the ARF Terrastania has taken position in the Nordic region.

Miraflores has announced the formal creation of an army base in Ceosrath, together with a naval and air force components. The statement says that “recent events have made it imperative that Frescanian forces in the Commonwealth are properly taken care of.”

The move for the formal construction of a Frescanian armed forces base in Ceosrath comes as the Agderike Succession Crisis deepens. Days ago, the government announced that the Frescanian 3rd Fleet stationed in Ceosrath would take position in the Gothic Sea to monitor the situation.

The Commonwealth of Ceosrath is an unincorporated territory of Frescania that has domestic autonomy. The Commonwealth was created this past August when the then Territorial Government wrote and the people approved a constitution for Ceosrath that ties it with Frescania.

The Presidential Palace also called on the government to fast-track the elimination of tariffs that still stand upon the Nordic territory.

Chancellor to Travel to Ceosrath

As the year comes to its final days, the Chancellery has announced that Chancellor Pierre Chomirac will travel to Ceosrath.

The announcement comes as the National Assembly approves President Rodriguez’s announcement of a military base in the Frescanian territory and as the Agderike Crisis continues to escalate.

Chancellor Pierre Chomirac will spend the start of the new year with Frescanian troops in Ceosrath.

In its statement, the Chancellery has announced that Chancellor Chomirac “will celebrate the new year with our troops in the Commonwealth of Ceosrath. The Chancellor is graceful for such an opportunity to spend quality time with our brave men in the North.”

The move comes a day after the National Assembly formally approved the creation of a Frescanian military base in Ceosrath. The base, which is expected to be built in strategic locations of the territory, will provide all branches of the armed forces with projection capabilities in the area.

Ceosrathian Premier Douglas Kennedy has welcomed the news and has stated that “our people will receive the Chancellor with open arms and I hope that during his stay Chancellor Chomirac can see our beautiful country.” Both leaders are also expected to discuss ways to expand ties between the regional and federal governments.

The announcement also comes as the situation continues to deteriorate in the Kingdom of Agderike, where Lovisa of Suionia was crowned Queen and unofficial sources state the Kristinia legislature will ask for Frescanian support. The Ministry of Defense has stated that “the Republic’s priority is for stability and peace in the region. We will do everything within our power to accomplish this task.”

Frescanian forces in Ceosrath and Suionia continue to be on high alert, and the 3rd fleet maintains its presence in the Gothic Sea.

The understanding of the Realm is that discontinuation of membership of the Himyar Partnership would be a precipitous event and one only to give immense calm and harpings of supposed victory to the malignant entities that lurk in the Himyar. If such a Frescanian withdrawal were come to pass, this can only cast a deep shadow across the northern Himyar and only give cause for expansionist instincts from the common and mutual transgressors of freedoms that, in reality, we both find harmony over. Abrogating responsibilities to the troubled northern Himyar can only be both a failure of Frescania and also a convenient excuse for the destabilisers of this part of the world. We call our warning.

No matter that Frescania deems it right to support misty-eyed, hand in glove obviousness, as well as lame-footed stances supporting insipid illegality, illegitimacy and insurrection in Agderrige and its environs, in a blind dogmatism in the belief of 'democracy', when it indeed shows no understanding of reality, thus reducing its role as a respectable state, it has a role to play in its own backyard and hinterland. If it fails in this, it also fails in its status as a 'great power' and also fails in itself, becoming a mere third-rate power and it shall, by simple reality, be cast into the shadows and irrelevance.

If, however, the Fortaleza Real vote comes to pass in favour of resignation, take it from me, not only will Frescania fall by the way-side, but this Realm shall step into the breach and take its place as well as expand our own 'sleeping policeman' duties. Never let anyone suggest we do not meet our obligations. I am sure, that with a Danish presence at least, the current quiet shall be maintained and if the rising of fierce foes emerge, we shall maintain a secure dampener upon their ambitions and dreadful consequences. Let no one be in doubt.

If however Fortaleza Real decides to stay within the Partnership, we will urge for a redress of the organisation meaning that this Realm becomes a full nation, as opposed to an observer. It is about time this happened. If Fortaleza Real decides upon withdrawal, we shall refashion a new organisation to meet the gap posed by the collapse of the HPP and in order to meet obvious threats to us all - Frescania and Danmark included.

The Republic finds insulting the recent communique from the Kingdom of Danmark. It is within our sovereign right to determine our own foreign policy. If the National Assembly decides, with the blessings of the Senate and the President, to end Frescanian membership in the Partnership, then it is within our right to do so. However, it is painfully obvious that the Danish government has no insight into how a republican system works. We recommend that the entire government reads the Constitution of Frescania to understand how divisions of power are defined, unlike the absolute power of the Danish king.

Furthermore, our actions in the Nordic region are solely for the purpose of protecting our troops and territory. This government will do all within its power to safeguard these men, and the recent actions by Danmark are only dividing Agderike and increasing the chances of instability. We shall continue to call for a peaceful resolution and will take any measure if we feel our interest is threatened.

Lastly, the insult of calling us a third power and the insult upon our Republican ideals are uncalled for. As the birthplace of Republicanism, we cannot tolerate such blatant attack upon our ideology. We also did not expect this from a friendly government of the Republic. We therefore demand a full and public apology from the Danish government and King. Until so, the Republic will stand against what we have always feared: a dangerous tyrant regime that does not respect a nation's sovereignty and an aggressive and oppressive Monarchy that only looks towards dismantling our Republic and all forms of liberty in this world. The Republic is truly saddened that Danmark has turn into such a bully state.

We completely understand that the decision lies with the republican legislature in Fortaleza Real and this was never doubted nor even questioned. What we did state, however, is that although the decision does lie with the legislature, a decision in favour of withdrawal from the Himyar Pact would send out the wrong signal and also reduce the effectiveness for Frescania to collaborate more fully with Himyar nations in the way that the Pact uniquely allows. This does not mean to say that Frescania and all the other nations could not still enter into bilateral actions, of course, but the Pact is unique in that it draws together the Himyar nations in a much stronger way and also one that gives rise to a greater confidence and it also sends out a message of strength as several nations are united behind one phalanx. We feel that withdrawal will not only be bad for Frescania but also for the region and give cause for factionalisation and we believe it needs to carefully examine its impact in its own region - its own backyard - as an urgency rather than support, even if ever so subtly, the ambitions of an unruly Lagting in Kristiania before any peaceful settlement had even been gotten off the ground. But the decision of the Frescanian legislature must be respected and it is one that we intend to do whatever the outcome.

Needless to say, the comment about 'third-rate power' is meant entirely in the issue of its own backyard of the Himyar. Our fears are that Frescania will continue to be overshadowed by emerging states in the region and that a decision - if it happens - of withdrawal from the Pact will only increase that. As such, other nations that we both generally feel are malign, will use this as a convenient scapegoat to boost their own ambitions making any Frescanian impact increasingly null and voided. This has only to be examined over the long term. We apologise if this has been deemed a strong term to use, and no offence is caused, despite what some in Frescania may believe, but it is an analysis we stand by.

The Danish system is also not the 'absolute power of a king', but has a strong parliamentary system. Indeed, on precedent, the monarch's of Agder and Fey fit more into the category of 'authoritarian', certainly not the monarchy of this country.

Regarding accusations of being a 'bully state', we can only reject this. Indeed that title is better attributed to others, some resident in the northern Himyar. We still regard Frescania as a friendly state but Secretary Maduro, the Frescanian foreign minister, used his own choice of bad words against what the last statement called a 'friendly government of the Republic', by calling the actions of the Royal Council 'aggressive' and that the Republic 'would not stand' for actions of the Royal Council. This sends out messages itself that are contradictory in nature to an apparently friendly government. So are statements about 'tyrant regimes'. Look through any of our communiques to Frescania and you will see not one word using a term like that to describe Frescania. I would hazzard a strong bet that it will not be found.

Lastly, we do not have any interests in Ceosrath or the rest of Bantyr which have been clear on more than one occasion so we are rather puzzled that Fortaleza Real considered it in the first place, and we can only ask why it felt that there would be a threat. Also, given that the Crisis of the Agder Succession could have been dealt with quite peacefully, Frescania itself indeed heightens tensions where they did not need to be heightened. We can only ask why.

But despite all this, Danmark's approach to Frescania is not considered to be one that will change for the time being - it being seen as a partner, not an enemy.

Navy Ordered to Quarantine Military Vessels en route to War-Torn Agderike

The Presidency has confirmed yesterday’s statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in which the Frescanian Republican Navy will begin a quarantine of Agderike’s waters against any military vessels that are not from said nation.

The move comes as the Nordic kingdom felt into civil war between supporters of Frederick III, the Danish Monarch, and those that support a constitutional regime.

The Miraflores Palace confirmed yesterday’s orders for the naval quarantine of Agderike

Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that the Frescanian Navy had been ordered to begin an immediate quarantine of Agderike’s waters and prevent any military vessels trying to enter the Nordic country.

The start of the New Year with such a powerful stance puts the country in what seems a clashing course with Danmark, which has gathered numerous supports for their King’s claim. With the Frescanian territory of Ceosrath nearby, the government has taken actions with the defense of the territory in mind.

This morning, Miraflores confirmed the naval orders and added that the armed forces throughout the Republic will begin preparations for enforcing the quarantine. The presidency called on all sovereign nations to not intervene and that Frescania would enforce the quarantine, recalling Frescanian efforts in Bantyr in which many international observers doubted Frescanian involvement.

Experts have stated that from the government’s perspective, Frescanian actions are very rational and realpolitik, two central aspects of Frescanian foreign policy. “Although the Republic is a Great Power and can project influence throughout the world, it focuses its efforts where it has citizens and formal alliances” said Andres Tuzman, associate professor of Frescanian politics at the University of Leon.

“Northern Himyar is unreliable due to the strong enmity between Parthava and Talemantros, and the unpredictable relations with Carentania and Jurzan. In Zulia-Santander, the government’s priority is the safety of its citizens in its territory. However in the North, the Northern War established Frescania and Engellex as the primary powers in the region. To Fortaleza Real, this status quo is preferred over anything else, and the accession of the Danish monarch in Agderike is seen as a threat against the balance of power. Frescania’s status as a great power is a crucial political agenda for the right, and the Democratic Party, which makes up the Government and dominates the National Assembly, will do anything with its power to prevent any decline. Although President Rodriguez is a Socialist, he has a stake in Ceosrath and the North after continuing Frescanian presence there, especially with next month presidential elections.”

It is unknown how the international community would react, but the government seems unmoved by the recent reactions. As of now, Frescanian naval forces in Ceosrath and Suionia have begun establishing the quarantine.

While we understand the need of protecting Ceosrath, we cannot understand how this is done by issuing a blockade over Agderrike would bring the wished result. It will only exacerbate the current conflict in Agderrike. We are believing that Frescania, if it truly wishes Ceosrath to be defended, they would support us and join the International Peacekeeping mission in Agderrike. A military measure must be taken only when all the other measures were trued and all of them failed.

We unreservedly condemn Frescania's strong-arm actions, which mirror so similarly those of our ally Carentania's, and which brought such International condemnation and censure, and yet provoke little attention from the hyper-imperialist superpowers, whose interests are served by Frescania's bully-boy tactics.

Having agreed in nomina to the terms of a Freedom of the Sea Agreement with Danmark, Engellex, the Fennian Union and Telora, we feel that the security and freedom of the northern Thaumantic, including the rights of civillian shipping to the independent nation of Agderrike, should also be re-examined in the light of Frescania's actions.

Simply put, we call on the International Community to act, and act now, to reprimand Frescania for its reckless naval bullying, and to consider the possibility of a truly International Freedom of the Seas law, which would prohibit or severely limit this sort of imperialistic blockade politics.

The Grand Duchy sees this move by the Frescanian government as a violation of neutrality, rather than a respect of it. We ask that Frescania remove her navy immediately from Agderike waters, unless otherwise invited by the official government of the sovereign nation.

To the attention of: The Government of the Republic of Frescania

The High Kingdom of Ivernia condemns this recent maneuver of the Himyari Republic and simply cannot believe that such an act of bully tactics and force-over-dialogue is still prevalent in this day and age. Without even the most brief of words with any other nations involved with the crises, or any discussion with nations which reside upon the Gothic Sea, Frescania has decided to move full military units directly into contentious areas. If ever there was a way to make things worse Frescania found a way.
Ivernia wonders why Frescania has a presence in the Gothic Sea at all anymore if all they seem to do with their strategic position in the North is to bend the future of nations to follow a path of Republican ideals. Frescania's actions only show that it's primary concern is the continuation of it's own influence in this region.
May I remind the government of Frescania that as of this point the only nation choosing to use and abuse it's military in the Agderike Civil conflict is itself. I think you should reflect on the imperialist view you seem to have on the North, where tolerance for your influence and power wears thin.
The High Kingdom of Ivernia, if this ''quarantine'' of Agderike continues, shall have no choice but to review it's position on Ceosrath and may indeed call for a Frescanian withdrawal, citing lack of confidence - and lack of faith in their true motives.

Following protracted attempts at trying to explain the situation, our own operations, and other such matters in several communiques now, it seems that either some that hold the reins in Fortaleza Real are more inclined towards anything but actual brilliance of wit and mind and have gone reverse into the realm of dullness and clottishness, ploughing the nation on a course that is irretrievable, more driven from gut than from the head. Contrary to claims of rationality, it is quite the opposite and Frescania has only gone as far as to turn up the heat a little more and create a powder keg that belies its own much-vaunted persona. Indeed, it really does place itself, by its actions, almost into the same category, as some foreign ministries have already been known to state, as its red near-neighbour to the East.

It is quite obvious that this is quickly emerging into the Great Frescanian Folly, revealing to the world the real real modus operandi of Fortaleza Real : republican imperialism. Some find it deliciously and fantastically ironic that a nation that prides itself and which has been in the past ever so quick to shoot barbed comments at others - including its own nominal allies - for being 'imperialist' indeed finds great solace in practicising exactly the same it accuses others of. In essence, this a grand policy hypocrisy. Denials, rejections and bluster may no doubt come forth, but at the heart, there is an immense truth.

There are increased notices that Frescania has become hubristic and jingoistic in a rush to war more designed around its own self-aggrandisement, sphere of influence, and something more shady, than it realistically appears to have to do with actually having any regard for the actual people of Agder and Fey for which, it has not even made a mention yet. This nation, one that crows greatly when it comes to its role in other regions in the world over humanitarianism, peace-keeping and the like, one that polishes its metaphorical cuff-links upon its sleeves, now seems to turn volte-face and deny the genuine peace-keepers of the world towards the bestricken of Agder and Fey and seems more preoccupied arm flexing than anything worthwhile. The mask has slipped well and truly off.

A nation that we have repeatedly given due courtesy towards has not noticeably moved to attempt to read the real and very complex issues on the ground and the issue of the Succession (so far for some to state that there is no depth of understanding of the nuances); has not actually followed through any understanding of anything we have written and spoken to them about in foreign office dialogue with the quintessential logical acts that flow from that very understanding (because if it had understood anything, all explained to it in a calm and rationale manner, the practical consequences of this understanding would not be the ones that we see today); has never engaged with any of its so-called partners on this - at all; seems more moved by a curious and interesting agenda in Agder and Fey that defies ordinary explanation; effectively snubs its allies - indeed actually blatently accuses its own allies of being a threat which is bizarre; does not foster any friendship and destroys alliances.

We can only advise all others to be cautious because if this is supposed to be a friend to any nation - watch your back before the knife comes a plunging. We also believe that this is a turning point for Frescania and one, in the long-term, once the dust has settled and the current hubbub has subsided, that it may wish it hadn't been so precipitous in undertaking.

For its own sense, it would be perhaps more sensible first of all not to have persued this in the first place as it has grander repercussions, but also attempt to find a convenient face-saving manoeuvre to save its graces.

Re: Deployment of Troops to Quarantine the Gothic
Sanctioned by the Office of the Nadzorca of the Upper Swieczieman Federative Mezhist Republic, Approved by the Office of the Hegemon of the Lower Swieczieman Confederative Mezhist Republic

We urge the Republic of Frescania to reconsider this blatantly erroneous decision. Deploying forces to the Gothic will only serve to exacerbate the situation and impede the international front to maintain peace and ensure a smooth, peaceful transition of power. We humbly suggest instead, if Frescania truly wishes to protect its interests in the Gothic, that it participate in the international forum that is quickly forming. With the succession crisis deflated, there can be no war. With no war, there can be no threat to Ceosrath. The logic of this invitation should be clear cut as the finest diamond. Denying it shall be a tragic mistake and yet another example of the bullheaded misunderstanding that caused this crisis in the first place.

May you seek God's wisdom on the matter, and may He guide your actions accordingly.

The United Republic of Sylvania supports this act of blockade by Frescania, the conflict within Agder should stay within Agder and their people must now begin the harrowing trial of shaping their country's future. Though we do not support both sides fighting each other to the death, it is apparent that they feel they are threatened by each other and therefore taking actions defeat that which attacks them. Non-aggression states that we may defend ourselves from our attackers, the pro-Lovisa movement in Agder is following this policy to the letter, though they do not know it.
