Valkany has no right to any territory outside its core territory. For what Valkany understands as civilizing a people, the whole world understands as genocide, mass killings, illegal occupation, the destruction of native ways of life, their culture, their language and even making them non-citizens in their own country clearly shows that Valkany has no intention of making the life of the people there better, but to simply destroy them, exterminate them so that their lands can be easily exploited until those are rendered unusable. The Valkanian citizens will be helped by the Council of Commissars to return home to their country and all Valkanian assets will either be frozen, or outright confiscated if it is decided that those might be instrumental to the genocide taking place in Himyar. The world must unite against the fascist threat to finally make this planet a safe place for everyone, either black or white.

Issue #28 - Tuesday, February 4th 1954

Eastern Cape Insurgency ends! Rebel leaders on trial! Land distribution begins! Elections in the Eastern Cape! Eastern Cape declared semi autonomous!

Today the Valkanian Expeditionary Force captured Umlazu! The Natives suffered 30,000 losses, mainly due to aerial bombardment and the Army's use of heavy artillery, while the vastly better equipped Valkanian Army only lost 200 brave soldiers. The Rebel leaders that did not surrender to the Valkanian Army, including Brogdoro Abundagubu, are currently on trial at Port Victoria's Supreme Colonial Court of the Eastern Cape. As promised the remaining 60,000 native troops inside Umlazu that surrendered have been granted amnesty while no civilians from Umlazu were harmed. Valkanian Emperor Demetrius XV addressed the nation and declaed the crisis to have officially ended. He announced that the Expeditionary Force will leave the Colony in tomorrow and that control of the colony will be given to the Valkanian Eastern Cape Colonial Administration. He also announced that elections are to be held in two days to elect the Colonial Assembly's members who will from now on vote for the colony's laws as the colony has been granted semi autonomy. Since both Black and White Valkanian citizens now have equal rights all of the Easter Cape's residents regardless of race or religion will take part in the elections! At the same time a special committee has been formed to grant arable land to all Black Valkanians. 432 families have already been given land, while all land being given is in the Eastern Cape's best land for agriculture and as such in one of the Colony's most expensive regions.

Issue #29 - Wednesday, February 5th 1954

Peacekeepers in the Eastern Cape! The Eastern Cape's New Colonial Constitution! Valkanian aid to Etnaea!

A force of international peacekeepers will arrive in the Eastern Cape Colony to help relief the Colony after her recent civil conflict. In the meantime land redistribution continues in the Eastern Cape. The old Governor General, Ian Pantersmark was convicted under charges of high treason, and has been replaced by Governor-General Lord Josef Kapodsmark. Valkany has also offered to send a battalion from the Peacekeeper & Aid Corps to Etnaea to aid the nation during her severe Winter blizzard. The new Colo nail Government of the Eastern Cape has drafted a constitution for the colony. The 10 first articles of the Colonial Constitution are written below. The Administration will rule over the colony for two more months, until Valkanian forces leave the colony and head back to mainland Valkany, after which event new elections will take place.

We the People of the Valkanian Colony of the Eastern Cape hereby sign, ratify and accept this document as the constitution of our Semi-Autonomous Colonial Nation. This Constitution may have articles of it edited only after elections for a Special Duties National Assembly are held.

Article I: The Head of State of this Great and Glorious Colony is His Imperial Majesty, the Valkanian Emperor Demetrius XV. For His Imperial Majesty is occupied with the matters of both the original valkanian homeland nation and the affairs of the entire Empire a Governor General of His Imperial Majesty's own choice will assume ceremonial duties of the Head of State in His Imperial Majesty's place.

Article II: The executive Head of Government of the Eastern Cape Colony shall be the Colonial Prime Minister, who shall be a member of the Colonial Assembly chosen by his fellow members of the Colonial Assembly through a Majority Vote. He shall hold all executive duties within this Colony's jurisdiction.

Article III: The Colonial Assembly of this colony is to be elected by the people of the Eastern Cape through a general election, every four years. it is to constitute of the Colonial Senate and the General Assembly, with each province being represented by one colonial senator regardless of population and a number of General Assembly members equivalent to its population. The General Assembly is to have 200 seats while the Colonial Senate is to have sixteen seats. The criteria for the distribution of these seats will be defined in Article XIII.

Article IV: The Colonial Assembly, Colonial Government and Governor General have jurisdiction within the Colony's borders but may only propose and pass or reject laws of B Class or lower. The C Lasses of Laws are based on those of the Valkanian Constitution. Any Law of Class B+ or higher is within the Jurisdiction of the Imperial Valkanian Parliament and Government in Zessionsford, mainland Valkany.

Article V: The Judges of all Courts whether Supreme, or Lower shall be elected by the people of the colony. They have jurisdiction of all cases and laws up to A- Class, with the classes of cases defined by the Valkanian constitution. All cases higher than A- Class are within the Jurisdiction of the Supreme Imperial Court of Mainland Valkany.

Article VI: All persons born within the boundaries of the Eastern Cape's borders, regardless of race, ethnicity or religion are Valkanian citizens. As per the Valkanian constitution all Valkanian citizens are equal. The respective clauses of the Imperial Valkanian Constitution apply.

Article VII: This Colony is to have no trade policies, embassies, passports, military or international diplomacy of her own. She is under Valkanian jurisdiction and command in all those sectors.

Article VIII: This colony is to be defended by the Valkanian Eastern Cape defense force. This force is under the jurisdiction of the Eastern cape's Colonial Office of Defense but is under Valkanian command and will obey Valkanian orders in case of a war. The Force is to not exceed 40,000 men ad women, including reserves and to not have more than 30 warships & 70 aircraft. This colony is to have her own police force with no more than 20,000 men and women.

Article IX: In case of a declaration of war to mainland Valkany or the Empire of Valkany, this colony is subject to all wartime measures of the Empire, including but not limited to general conscription, declaration of martial law, security lock-down and other measures.

Article X: This Colony is to always fly the Imperial Valkanian flag as her primary flag and her colonial flag as her secondary flag. [...]

Valkany joins the EFL!Eastern Cape Defense Force and XXIII Imperial Valkanian Regiment recruiting! Vokranof caught! Rebel leaders' & Pantersmark's trials finish!

Valkany has been accepted into the EFL. Meanwhile in the Eastern Cape Colony the Eastern Cape Defense Force and the XIII Imperial Valkanian Regiment in the Eastern Cape are currently recruiting. Back in Valkany the dangerous criminal Viktor Vokranof has been arrested and is currently awaiting trial at Zessionsford's Supreme Imperial Court. On a different note the six arrested rebel Leaders' trails have been completed. Two of them were found innocent as they surrendered to Valkanian forces along with their men on their own initiative and had committed no crimes against civilians. The three other rebel leaders, including Brogdoro Abundagubu, were convicted to death by hanging. More details on the issue in page 6. Former Governor-Genral Pantersmark was convicted to death by firing squad.

Zessionsford prepares for the Imperial-Royal wedding! Rebel leader & Former Governor's sentences reduced! Employment rates & average income improved!

With the Imperial-Royal Marriage getting closer by the day and with the Royal Family of Vestrland having arrived in Zessionsford the Capital City's populace and municipal administration are preparing both for celebration and security. In other news the two of the rebel leaders that had been convicted to death along with Former Governor-General Pantersmark have had their sentences reduced to life in prison. Nevertheless Brogdoro Abundagubu will still be executed publicly by hanging. In a completely other matter according to joint studies by the university of Zessionsford and various other foreign universities the average Valkanian income and the employment rates of Valkany have drastically risen in the last five years.

Office of Naval Intelligence denies the A class document release requests! Environmentalist group's ship sunk! Peacekeepers arrive in the Eastern Cape!

Earlier today the Office of Naval Intelligence's Representative denied requests of both the press and civil rights groups that called for the release of several A Class Classified Top Secret documents. The spokesperson said that there is no need for such a release of high profile documents and that it could compromise state security. The representative of the activist group GreenPeace in Valkany said that the ONI is performing unethical and illegal weapons tests that damage the environment of both mainland Valkany and her Colonies. The ONI spokesperson denied this claim. In another matter which also concers activism in Valkany a small ship under the name of Kytos, which was owned by the Environmentalist group Whale Defenders was sunk after a Valkanian Imperial Coastguard corvette fired on the ship. The ship attempted to ram a Whaling ship of the Coast of Vostok, Northwest Valkany. When the Corvette intervened and warned the ship not to attack other vessels the ship attempted to ram the corvette. The corvette managed to outmaneuver and evade the Activist vessel. When the corvette attempted to reach the Kytos and board it the ship's crew fired on the Coast Guard's Troops shotguns, a light machine-gun and a bazooka. The fire from the Kytos wounded one sailor of the IVNS Civa. The weapons had probably been bought from the Himyari Black Market as the ship was coming to Vostok from Himyar to attend an Environmentalist meeting. The corvette warned the Kytos' crew to seize fire thrice. After the Kytos' crew purposely failed to comply the corvette fired on the Kytos' rear causing the back side of the ship to explode, sinking the ship. Three of the Kytos' crew members were injured from the blast. All of the ship's crew members have been arrested. This comes after a severe increase of violent attacks from the Whale Defenders group in a number of countries, mainly in Scania, where Whale Hunting is still at large. The chatter log from the incident has been released by the Coast Guard. See below for the log. To a completely different subject a peacekeeping force from various nations has arrived in the Eastern Cape.

Valkanian hockey league cup won by the Zessionsford Dragons! Valkanian Industries Group announces new series of weaponry! Articles needed!

The Zessionsford Dragons won the Valkanian Hockey league yesterday after a hectic match with the Vostok Whalers. The match ended in a 4-2 score in favor of the Dragons. In another subject the Valkanian Industries Group has announced a new series of military equipment featuring some of the highest end weapons to date. The VIG spokesperson assured all interested parties that this series of equipment is sure to revolutionize warfare. On another not a group of the nation's six largest news companies, including ours, have announced they are in need of good news. From today until the 12th of February all those who wish may submit their stories and articles to any of our mailboxes and a committee will select the stories that will get featured. Gregorius Fidelitus to be Pope? Conference for the Decolonization of Himyar! Valkany fares well in the EFL!

Cardinal Gregorius Fidelitus has submitted his candidacy for pope and the latest estimates show a positive reaction to his candidacy. The vote of the Conclave is still, however, taking place. In other news Valkany continues to oppose all those who seek a decolonized Himyar but has sent a representative to the summit for the decolonization of Himyar to observe the talks and state his opinion. To the EFL, Group 4 continues to be a group of death for sure, but Valkany has gained a three point lead over second place giving their team a very slight edge over the other teams. Round 11 and 12 will be the most important rounds of the league as they will determine who will make it to the playoffs and who will be sent back to their home countries.

New army equipment! New tariffs on products from Tyrrhenia! Ambassador recalled from Tyrrhenia! All Tyrrhenians and Tyrrhenian Companies currently in Valkany to be deported within three days!

The Valkanian army has begun a process of re-equipment with the latest equipment and weaponry of the Valkanian Industries Group. In response to Tyrrhenia seizing valkanian assets, deporting Valkanian citizens and recalling their ambassador the Imperial Government announced that all Tyrrhenian Citizens in Valkany will be deported and will be given three days time before they are escorted out of Valkany's sovereign territories and colonies, all Tyrrhenian companies will have to leave Valkany within three days or all their assets will be seized and that the Valkanian Ambassador and diplomatic stuff in Kastoria and other Tyrrhenian cities is to be recalled immediately. The government also announced heavy new tariffs for all Tyrrhenian products. More details in page three.

Seeing that Tyrrhenia in no way wishes for a peaceful coexistence of our peoples and has taken every measure, moral or not, to agitate us this Imperial Government cannot and will not stay dormant in view of these despicable actions. Namely Tyrrhenia's government has decided to:
I. Deport all Valkanian Citizens
II. Deport all Valkanian business and seize the assets of a number of Valkanian companies operating in Tyrrhenia
III. Recall their diplomatic stuff
IV. Insult, harass and downright non-truthfully accuse Valkany of actions which she has never performed

As such this Imperial Government is forced to decide and enforce the following:

I. All Tyrrhenian citizens and nationals shall be deported from Valkany and her colonies in three days time. They may take as much money as they want and up to 17 kilograms of luggage per person with them. Also all assets of theirs left behind will be seized by the Valkanian government. they will be escorted by the Imperial Valkanian Landwehr which may use moderate and non-lethal force should they resist deportation.
II. All Tyrrhenian companies, corporations and other forms of business currently operating in Valkany or her colonies are to leave the nation and her colonies within three days. They may take all their profits with them but an 1% tax will apply. Also all assets left behind will be seized by the Valkanian government. Failure to comply will lead to forced banishment of said business entity from Valkany and all of her assets being seized.
III. Valkany's ambassador, citizens, business entities and diplomatic stuff that have not already been evacuated from Tyrrhenia are to do so as soon as possible. They will be escorted by Valkanian Aircraft.
IV. All Tyrrhenian products and services in Valkany are to have an added 26% tax on them.

The hypocrisy of the air-monger regime in Valkany shows only how they know only how to mock the whole international stage with their mendacity. We have reached an absurd point in which the international commission that is set to investigate the war crimes in the Eastern Cape doesn't have to present their report to the world so that the Valkanian misdeeds took place, but to show the Valkanians that their leaders are just a clique of criminals. Valkany thumbs its nose at the whole international community, from republican states to socialist ones, from Post Delegationist states to Monarchies, to present themselves as above the international standards, thinking they can do anything, that they rule the world, by signing the Genocide Protocols and saying that actually, the genocide that took place in the Eastern Cape is actually the work of the freedom fighters. The Valkanian clique doesn't even know how to properly counter-argument all the declarations against them by denigrating them with superficial responses. Through this, the Socialist Republic of Tyrrhenia and we hope that the whole civilized world, solemnly declare that Valkany is a rogue state that is a menace to world peace.
