We congratulate Mr. Jerman with his election as Commisar for Foreign Affairs and hope we can fruitfully cooperate with him in the future.

Regarding his stance on Solaren, it is also our wish to stabilise the country as soon as possible. However, the situation in Solaren is not deteriorating because of the liberal minority in the SNC. It is deteriorating because of upheavals by groups still loyal to Pope Urban's beliefs. These upheavals would not have been prevented when the SNC would have managed to present a new constitution earlier. Peace in Solaren is only possible if the interests of all people will be taken into account, both those of liberals, and those of conservatives, and those of socialists.

We would like some clarification regarding the positions taken by Tomas Jerman regarding certain elements in foreign policy:

1) An AP source claimed that Mr. Jerman will be "abandoning past attempts of cooperation with capitalist powers and focusing on partnership with other socialist states." The Grand Duchy trusts that this will not include cooperation with certain capitalist powers who are working together with Carentania in Solaren.

2) Mr. Jerman stated here in this interview, "I will increase Carentanian support for socialist factions in Solaren." We hope that what Mr. Jerman meant was that Carentania will support the government Solaren chooses, regardless of whether or not it might be socialist in nature.

These are the news:

The Commissariate for Foreign Affairs has expressed its worries about the situation in Touzen, expressing its fears that the entire country would be thrown into a state of unrest. While the Commissar described the situation as "complicated", he said that he has hopes that the proto-socialist state emerges from the crisis with a heightened class awareness. Carentanias official stance on the matter is, that the social protests are justified, but in danger of being misled by well-intentioned, but dangerous anarchist radicals. Commissar Jerman has ultimatively expressed his interest in meeting with Jurchen Marshall Dorgon to discuss the situation in Toyou as a whole and offered Carentanias service as a neutral "third party" negotiator in the domestic crisis in Touzen.

On the first day of the world series of football, the global tournament currently held in Cantignia, reigning champions Red Flag Cazma narrowly averted total defeat in the first rounds. Red Flag Cazmas captain had this to say: "The Cannie offense took us completely by surprise, scoring two to zero in the first half with its very aggressive play." Vesper Metropolitan F.C. seemed poised to expand its lead even further in the second half and very narrowly missed a number of great chances, before eventually their aggressive play backfired with severe fouls leading to two of their players being sent from the field, after which Red Flag Cazma managed to take the lead with a number of tactically superior moves.

The current crisis in Touyou has, to no small degree, been fueled by the fires of Danish Imperialism, seeking to descend upon Northern Touyou like a predatory vulture. Without the threat to the Boliaturan Revolution by the Danish, the terrorist-agitator Taketori and his domestic allies would never have been able to lead a small but dedicated group of war profiteers against the government of the Constitutional State, which until the very last moment dedicated itself to maintaining peace in Touyou and beyond. It is also this instability of the Constitutional State, provoked by the Taketoriite enemy, that gave the imperial administration in Yujin the audacity to embark upon its designs for conquest, unrestrained by the corrective influence of the revolutionary guarantor of peace in the area that is Touzen.

The indiscriminate killing of Touzen citizens, Jurchen negotiators and peacekeeping officers and the unscrupulous bomb attack on the representatives of the Touzen citizenry speak a clear language. The National Emergency Council of Touzen is well within its right to accept nothing but the full defeat of these provocateurs, even though both the NEC and the Jurchen Republic have repeatedly called for a return to negotiations, a call falling on deaf ears with the clique now entrenched in Hakata. The Marshall nevertheless is willing to meet with Commissar Jerman and once again calls upon the Hakata clique to stop the violence to restore Touzen's ability to confront the real enemies of the revolution or risk the rise of an upcoming era of pervading unfreedom in Touyou and beyond.

These are the news:

In a previously unannounced visit to Mazara, Solaren, Commissar for Foreign Affairs Jerman has met with representatives of the interim government and the constitutional assembly. The meeting was held secret to ensure the security of the participants in the volatile political environment of Solaren. According to the Commissariate, Commissar Jerman urged the Solaren interim government to finally present a workable constitution to the country and thus allow for a gradual end of the occupation. At a press conference in Rijeka following his return from Solaren, Mr. Jerman stated that he believes Solarens future to be a socialist one and that he and the Solaren National Congress explored possibilities of reaching this goal. "Socialism is the majority wish of the Solaren people. But this wish is denied by a liberal minority fearing for their own stakes. We have to break their blockade of the constitutional process to allow Solaren to progress. I had long and fruitful discussions with members of the Solaren Congress and I believe we can reach a compromise with the liberals in the SNC that does not endanger the progressive nature of the new Solaren constitution."

The Commissariate for Economic Planning wants to vitalize the economy of the west coast, increasing its contribution to the overall wealth of the Carentanian nation. Plans for infrastructural developement foresee a long-term campaign aimed at the creation of a strong touristic sector on the Coral Coast and improving not only its attractivity to foreign tourists, but also the capacities of the local touristic facilities. "We need new hotels, more rail capacities and an international airport at Barca," the spokesperson of the office of tourism noted. Carentanias western coast is famous for its natural beauty, with long-winding sandy beaches and remarkable coral reefs. However, it is only sparsely populated and lacks infrastructure.

After a troubled start in the One World Series of Football, reigning champions Red Flag Cazma have found back to their old strength and thoroughly annihilated their competition in the last match. With three to zero, Red Flag Cazma sent their competitors from Malachor back to Boganhem and earned a well-deserved victory. Cazmas fast paced combinations and very tactical gameplay once again proved itself as superior to most football played in the rest of Europe. Following this victory, hopes throughout Carentania are rising that Red Flag Cazma may be able to defend its title and even team-captain Janez Oblak, who had been cautious in previous interviews, was thoroughly enthusiastic about the prospect of renewed championship: "If, indeed, we manage to achieve such a remarkable feet, I will see to it that my team makes a goodwill tour through Europe and teaches the world how to play real football!"

These are the news:

The Carentanian Record Association has shocked the entire country with its selection for the 1953 European Music Association Contest. Dan Rove and "The Lancers" will represent the Workers' Republic in this international showcase of musical talents, a band most known for instigating the youth to unruly behaviour and a life of criminality. As a child of Havenite immigrants, Dan Rove had enjoyed a calm childhood in Rijeka and later pursued a career in the military, which brought him to the Solaren liberation campaign. It was after his return, that he began to make music that is clearly designed to be offensive to the good tastes, taking the Carentanian Jazz with its Gypsy and Klezmer influences and mashing it with classical Himyari Folk music, a union which other artists have never attempted for good reasons. The Carentanian Record Association however denies any guilt for the situation, stating that the choice of Dan Rove rested on a "dedicated group of fans" which used the selection process to their advantage.

Commissar for Foreign Affairs Jerman has made way for the state of Jurchen in north-eastern Toyou. There he will meet with Marshal Dorgon to discuss the security situation in the region as a whole and in Touzen in particular. The Commissar has expressed his hopes that, building on past partnerships with Dorgon in regards to Boliatur, the two statesmen could explore a possible Carentanian contribution towards peace and progress in the region. Furthermore, Jerman stressed that both Jurchen and Touzen directly border Yujin, meaning that their stance on the conflict in Yujin will have to be heard by Carentania.

Carentanian publishers have announced their interest in distributing domestic comic series to an international audience. "The success of the Ivernian brand Havok! has proven that there is indeed a global audience for this kind of pulp entertainment and that international distribution could make a contribution towards Carentanias trade balance," the Commissariate for Economic Planning noted in a press release. It is, as of yet, unclear though, whether Carentania will seek bourgeoise companies in countries it wishes to sell to or whether it will set up independent avenues of distribution in capitalist countries.

These are the news:

The Commissariate for Defence has taken first steps towards the realization of the expansion of Navy fleet strength demanded by the last All-Workers Congress. According to a press release, shipyards in Cazma have received design and construction orders for a new fleet group centered around a fleet carrier of considerably larger size than the currently active Maximo and Samobor. Engineers of the respective shipyards will now meet with military scientists to lay down the blueprints for this new shipclass, while many of the auxilliary ships are expected to utilize existing designs.

A workers council in the city of Paki has made national headlines today, after ruling the hospitalization of twenty-five year old man due to his homosexuality as unlawful. The man had approached a psychiatrist on his own choice after he had several sexual encounters with men, a local newspaper from Paki reported, but rejected the treatment in a mental institution, to which he was then transferred against his will. His worker council, however, intervened, freeing the man after mere two weeks of treatment. While well within the scope of legal powers of the council, the actions have caused negative responses from large parts of the Carentanian population. Many worker councils in Paki are rumoured to be composed by large parts of homosexual individuals.

Red Flag Cazma has reached the semi-finals of the One-World Series of Football, following a tough match against Potenzan Royal San Salvo FC. San Salvo managed to stop Cazmas quick offensives time and time again with tight defensive play, throttling the tactical assaults on the Potenzan goal. Failing, however, to muster own strong counter-attacks, the game dragged on without effective chances to score for either side, before the shootout finally spelled doom for the Potenzan team. Cazmas captain Janez Oblak congratulated the Potenzan team on having made it so far, saying that they could return home with their heads held up high. Meanwhile, Red Flag Cazma will now face an enemy from the Mezhist Union - a game which is expected to stir many emotions and to which only a Carentanian victory can be considered an acceptable outcome.

After complaints raised by Touzens team Hakata 1901 in the world series, the referees of the match in question have been suspended by the Cantignian organizers of the event. General Secretary of the Carentanian Football Association, Daniel Pavlov, has criticized the team for blaming their defeat on the referees, citing a "lack of sportsmanship" and "ideological misconceptions" as the main problems of Hakata 1901. "Hakatas officials are behaving like typical bourgeoise ideologues, believing that they are deserving of a victory, simply because they just really want it. But mind does not conquer matter. Hakata 1901 is a decent team, but it lacked sufficient amounts of teamplay, speed and tactical prowess to really stand against the game of the Mezhists, who liken football to a battlefield and pursue victory in the game with militaristic efficiency."

These are the news:

The Carentanian government has expressed its worries about the situation on the Vangalan-Sikandaran border, calling Sikandari actions "threatening" and "aggressive". Staunchly anti-communist Sikandara has recently declared an unprovoked increase in troop strength along the Vangalan border. Carentanias Commissar for Foreign Affairs released a press statement, warning Sikandara that any incursions into Vangalan territory will be met in much the same way that the attacks by Imperial Yujin were thwarted. "If Sikandara believes it can strike Vangala in a moment of weakness, when it is just recovering from a devastating attack on its eastern border," Commissar Jermans press release states, "it will find that Carentania is willing to commit to the fullest to the defense of the Vangalan People's Republic."

Carentanias national space programm has started its work today, taking up temporary residence in an office-building in Rijeka. The agency, termed "European Cosmonautical Union" will be busy with compiling research data from various sources, civilian and military, over the next weeks before work on more practical projects can take shape. However, the newly elected Board of Administration has already expressed its optimism to be able to start a first series of smaller test launches before next months, testing various systems of military origin on their applicability for future civilian programms. "Of course, we have a long way in front of us," the board cautioned the public, however. "Space flight is a little more complicated than just building a large rocket and shooting it into the sky." Fellow socialist nations have been invited to participate in the space programm and committ their own personnel to the ECU.

The entire country celebrates Red Flag Cazmas victory against their competitors from the Mezhist Union. With a superior display of talent and skill, last years champion triumphed over the fiercely aggressive playstyle of the Mezhists and reached the finales, where it will now face off against either the Ivernian or the Fennian team. Should Red Flag Cazma win this match, it is certain to write football history, earning two consecutive champion titles in the worlds most important football tournament. RFC's game against the Mezhists was itself overshadowed by a display of solidarity with the Olenasean people, in whose language the RFC's player sung the Internationale prior to the match. This display of support for the struggle of the native Cantignians against the racial segregation policies provoked fierce arguments amongst the audience, which quickly devoled into city-wide rioting.

GOVERNMENT OF SIKANDARA
Grand Council for Diplomatic Affairs
OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE
The Imperial Government questions the motives of the Worker's Republic of Carentania in its hypocritical involvement in Touyou affairs, when its own anti-imperialist stance in Himyarite politics is much admired by independent states. Furthermore, we ask the Carentanian Government to refrain from fanning the flames of tension by irresponsible reports of their mouthpiece. If Carentania has made it apparent its position on the issue, let us make ours as well:

Sikandara can, and will, fight any enemy, be it on land, in the sea or air, and a war with the Lion of Touyou will result in greater wounds for the unlucky opponent. As a sovereign state which is wholly responsible, unlike many in the region, our prior statements have been warnings to the regime in Kilkila, as we are not convinced the illegal despots have the legitimacy in the eyes of the people of Vangala to ensure the chain of command is respected.

We ask Rijecka to convey this message to its minions: Respect our territorial integrity and maintain control over your hordes along the shared border.

These are the news:

After Dan Rove and his offensive musical style, defying all good tastes, was chosen to represent Carentania in the European Musical Association Contest, criticism against the Carentanian Record Association won't stop. While they insist that Dan Rove managed to gather more votes than any other candidate in the national selection, the Carentanian Record Association admitted that this is owed to a dedicated, but ultimately small fanbase, while more common Carentanian tastes were distributed on a great number of artists. This explanation has raised calls for a reform of the selection process, so that such a desaster can't repeat itself. The Record Association has refused to comment on this demand as of yet.

An expedition by the Cazma Polytechnicum has reportedly reached the depth of more than 3000 meters below the surface of the Long Sea, dispelling the commonly held assumption that no life could exist in the high-pressure and complete darkness of the deep sea. "We could clearly make out a number of shellfish on the seaground," the crew of the bathyscaphe - a form of submarine without engine - reported, causing controversy whether these animals were really present on the deep sea permanently or just accidently reached the depths. Meanwhile, the Decan of the Cazma Polytechnicum nautical research departement voiced his confidence that the boundries of the bathyscaphe technology were not yet reached and that, indeed, the deepest point in the European Oceans could be reached this way in the near future.

The entire nation is preparing for todays finalists match in the World Series of Football. Red Flag Cazma will defend its title as last years champion against Meath FC from Ivernia and, should they manage this astonishing feat, immortalize themselves in football history. The team itself is confident and almost the entire Carentanian nation will gather in front of televisions to watch the live airing of the match today. Red Flag Cazma announced that, in case of a victory, they will organize a goodwill tour through Europe, playing training sessions with any professional team that is interested and hosting a number of charity events to use their popularity for a good cause. And indeed, Red Flag Cazma is already earning itself a name as a team that cares: during last match, they sung the internationale in the language of the oppressed ethnic minority of Cantignia, displaying their solidarity with their struggle.

These are the news:

An announcement by the Mezhist Union, that it would begin to supply arms to the Imperial government of Yujin, has caused strong protests by Carentania, Havenshire and Jurchen. Both Carentania and Havenshire stressed that Imperial Yujin had declared war on their countries and began an unprovoked invasion of Vangalan territory and that therefore, any shipment of arms must be considered an act of aggression. Jurchens Marshal Dorgon reinforced their position that the reactionary attempts to stabilize an oppressive government by force could not be tolerated. The Workers' Republic has already begun to mobilize further assets of the Navy Corps, preparing to reinforce units currently operating along Yujins shoreline.

Meanwhile, Carentanian High Command plans to withdraw a total of 5000 soldiers from active duty in Solaren, reducing the troop presence there in favour of transferring more responsibilities to the Solaren security forces, as the Commissariate for Defense explained. The majority of these soldiers will come from the province of Capraria, which is regarded as exceptionally calm area of the country. Commissar for Defence, Matija Dracar, also stated that there was a pressing need to decrease the burden of the prolonged mission on the Carentanian people as a whole and that a gradual transfer of full responsibility to Solaren forces was planned, leaving only two leased rump bases to protect Carentanian interests along the Long Sea.

Finally, our news broadcast wouldn't be complete without another mention of the final match of the One World Series of Football, for those of you who managed to miss it. Red Flag Cazma has succesfully defended its title against Meath F.C. from Ivernia, one and for all proving that Socialism and Success go hand in hand. The team is now preparing for a goodwill and charity tour through Europe and hopes for numerous invitations from teams all over Europe. Meanwhile, the entire country has whipped itself into a frenzy as they celebrated the victory all night long. The game has furthermore gone down in history as the most-watched television event in history.

These are the news:

The crisis in Cantignia worsens by the hour, as race riots and labor struggles grip the entire country. Carentania has joined the majority of European countries in issuing a travel warning for the nation and advised its citizens to seek refugium within the Carentanian embassy and its consulates. Unlike several other powers, including Potenza and Danmark, Carentania has not yet dispatched any naval forces to the region to begin an evacuation mission. "We believe that it is too early to make that call," the Commissariate for Foreign Affairs explained, "and we believe the situation will improve soon enough, so that the wisest course of action will be to guard our citizens within the embassies and consulates." The Commissariate furthermore warned the nations of Europe from intervening to quell the unrests, stating that the unrest must be considered a domestic Cantignian issue.

The Carentanian destroyer "Suffragette", en route to the continent of the south pole, has reached the Thaumantic Ocean. On board of the ship is a detachment of Navy Infantrymen, which will set foot on the antarctic continent to send a strong signal against imperialist claims made on the entire continent by Ivernia and Auraria. Carentanias mission has been criticised by the targeted nations and its allies, but is unlikely to encounter serious resistance. "Ivernia and Auraria thought that they could claim an entire continent and do so unopposed, because of the relative lack of value of the landmass at this point. We're proving them wrong," Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Tomas Jerman, said.

The city of Barca may get an international airport, making it the fourth city in Carentania to service international flights, even before much larger cities like Sisak. Plans by the Commissariate for Economic Planning foresee Carentanias westernmost city to become the gate to a new tourism industry along the coral coast, designed to attract tourists from across Europe and bolster Carentanias trade balance through the influx of paying visitors. The entire region offers beautiful beaches, a warm climate and a lot of culture, despite its comparatively sparse settlement.

These are the news:

Predictions for this years economic growth have been drastically decreased, with a prognosis of only 2% growth this years made by the Commissariate for Economic Planning. Commenting on this sudden change in the official forecasts, the Commissar stated that the many conflict around Europe and the necessity of Carentanian involvement, most prominently in Solaren and in the defense of Vangala, have not been without impact on Carentanian industry. However, the Commissar also cautioned the public against panic, stating that Carentanian economy remains stable and productive and that much of its surplus that is directed towards foreign efforts on the short-term will reap benefits in the future. "By accepting shortfalls now, during a volatile period in European politics, we are laying the grounds for future prosperity."

Commissar Jerman has finished his visit to the eastern Toyou state of Jurchen, where he engaged in talks with the Jurchen leader Marshall Dorgon. The talks have been described as very productive and the athmosphere of the meeting as cordial. "We have found common ground on many issues pertaining the situation in Toyou and beyond," the Commissar for Foreign Affairs said during a press conference. "And Carentania and Jurchen will be partners in defending Toyou from neo-imperialist designs." Following the talks, Commissar Jerman has departed for the Vangalan capital, where he will meet with Vangalan representatives to evaluate the current security situation of the socialist country and discuss future Carentanian aid to the country.

Colonel Milena Hafner, highest ranking female officer in the Carentanian military, has been appointed to the post of Director of the newfounded Agency for Covert Investigations. The appointment comes as a surprise to many, who had expected an officer with experience in the Revolutionary Army Intelligence to receive this post and competitors have already speculated in the public that the appointment of a woman to the highest position of the Workers' Republics first domestic intelligence agency to be an attempt to have it appear less threatening to the public. Criticism have also been raised as to Milena Hafners personal ties to late Marshall Krajnc, who had been supportive of Hafners military career in the past and was killed by Mezhist terrorists in Rijeka earlier this year. The Agency for Covert Investigations will mainly deal with operations against the threat from Mezhist terrorists.

These are the news:

The Agency for Covert Investigations, having been under scrutiny by the public since its foundation as the Workers' Republics first domestic secret agency half a year ago, reported its first large success in the fight against Mezhism. In a coordinated raid, militia units in the city of Sisak managed to seize four members of a Mezhist terrorist cell in the city of Sisak, arresting them and securing twelve guns and half a kilo of explosives. Information revealing the existence of the Mezhist cell and their current location were provided by the ACI, who reported that they had been following this lead for four months before eventually alarming local units. "We hope this first victory helps to justify the existence of our agency," ACI director Milena Hafner commented.

An official order of the Commissariate for Public Health led to the immediate shutdown of a mental asylum in the city of Mala Plana in the Cestica province. Independent research by the local newspaper in the small town had uncovered unbearable conditions in the asylum, including daily beatings and numerous violations of safety regulations. The inmates of the facility have been transferred to another asylum in the nearby town of Barlete, while one of the doctors in the asylum was arrested on suspicions of medicamentation abuse. The Mala Plana City Asylum had thirty-four inmates, most of them treated for pederasty.

Officials of the Workers' Republic have honored veterans of the Solaren war during a ceremony in Rijeka. In a public speech, Commissar for Defence, Matija Dracar, reminded the nation of those who left their lives on the Solaren shores, hills and mountains to end the rule of Pope Urban. "True courage is not found in fighting for your own sake, fighting for own lifes and freedom, not found in fighting for that of your family or nation. True courage lies in the hearts of those who willingly make this greatest of sacrifice for the lifes and freedom of strangers. The people of Solaren were strangers to us, but nevertheless, Carentanian soldiers answered the call to arms to liberate these neighbours of ours from a vile despot. Their blood has forged a tie between our peoples that can not be broken. No longer are we strangers, we have become brothers."

These are the news:

Havenite actor George Armstrong broke his left foot during filming for the movie Roses of Liangang in eastern Zidani, Carentania. The movie, a Carentanian-Havenite co-production under the auspices of internationally acclaimed director Ema Zupan, is a dramatic retelling of the embassy crisis in the Yujiner city of Liangang, two years ago. Armstrong, who is playing a Havenite marine dispatched to rescue the embassy staff and Yujiner civilians having taken shelter within the socialist embassies, is himself an award winning actor and the movie is already rumoured to be the biggest, most ambitious production of the Carentanian movie industry. The injury of the films lead role, however, is a severe disturbance to the timetable of the production, which is planned to finish by the end of this year.

The Revolutionary Navys third carrier will not be a new design after all. Carentanias Commissariate for Defence today announced it is abandoning the project to introduce a new, major, carrier class due to "technical reasons". Expansion of the fleet had been approved in the first half of last year and initial plans foresaw a carrier group centered around a new class of "supercarrier" to meet Carentanias increasing need to intervene overseas and project power beyond its own borders. Instead of the original plans, the Commissariate for Defense has now ordered the construction of a third light carrier in the same design as the Maximo and the Samobor. Both ships have been put to use with great efficiency during past conflicts.

The sudden closing of its borders by the Scanian country of Vestrland has alerted European countries, who watch the situation unfold with great caution as Vestrland has thusfar refused to disclose any justification for its actions. "This is an unprecedented act," Commissar for Foreign Affairs Jerman commented. "We are advising all Carentanian citizens in Vestrland to seek out the Carentanian embassy, if they are refused departure from the country." The Commissar stressed that the Workers' Republic will not accept its citizens being held hostage by foreign powers and warned the Vestrlander government to: "remember Liangang".

These are the news:

The western Himyari country of Saraar has banned its Communists from participating in the upcoming elections. Carentanian government has called this course of action "not surprising, nevertheless despicable" and stressing the need for socialist revolution as prerequisite for true democracy. "The Saraari government has taken upon the task of proving to the people of Europe that, as long as the sources of power rest firmly in the hands of the bourgeoise, there can be no freedom and that the rights of the workers and their representatives will be shunned, isolated and persecuted by the authorities." Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Tomas Jerman, has not ruled out the possibility of Carentania taking a proactive stance on the issue and seeking measures to support the Saraari Communists.

Carentanian based European Cosmonautical Union, the space programm of the socialist nations, has begun construction of its main launch and testing site in western Vrbas Kraj. "Latitude is an important factor when seeking out the site for this programm," the chairman of the ECU explained. "The further south, the better. At the same time, however, we have to take infrastructure level and population density into account, to maximize efficiency on the one hand and minimize the risks on the other. The Vrbas Kraj is the best compromise between the many factors." On the compound, which is due to be in service in may this year, the ECU wants to start testing military rocket designs for adaption of a space programm.

A workers' council in the city of Radomlje has moved to ban an offensive production from running in a local theater, after it became apparent that the entire goal of the director was to offend the good senses and decency of its audience. "During the play," the resolution of the council specifies, "actors defecated on the stage and jammed chilis up their nostrils for no apparent reason other than to incite and provoke." The workers' council stressed that it would not offer any support to such productions and that theater buildings and stages are property of the people, hence it is their right and duty to deny what it named "fecal-poets" access to them.

While we understand the political affinity the Worker's Republic of Carentania has with the Communist Party of Saraar (KPS), we would like to state that any support other than a political one will be seen as an intervention in the foreign affairs of the Caliphate of Saraar, a move that we will not accept. As long as they respect the will of the people and thus accept the state of law in Saraar, as the people voted it in the referendum, the party can work freely and join the next elections, but if Carentania will intervene in the internal politics of the Caliphate we can surely declare that all dissent will be taken care of.

Signed,

Also we want to make clear that it is up to the people of Saraar and not up to the government of Carentania to decide about the future of Saraar. Political support from Carentania to the KPS would indeed be understandable, but support that goes further than that would indeed be a clear infringement of the Saraarer sovereignty.

Thank you for tuning in and welcome to Carentania Public Broadcasting.
These are the news:

Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Tomas Jerman, harshly criticized the behaviour of colonial powers in Himyar. In a statement directed primarily at Portusgalia and Valkany, Jerman lashed out against a "autocratic mindset" which believed itself to have the right to keep "millions of Himyari workers in shackles". He strongly warned both Portusgalia and Valkany to begin a war within Himyar, stressing that "Himyari soil is not the place to settle your imperialist competition." Jerman reinforced the stance of the Workers' Republic, calling for complete decolonization of Himyar, promising that independence to the people of Himyar would come in the near future and that Carentania would seek out regional partners beyond ideological boundries to achieve this goal.

The sudden shutdown of Vestrlands borders, which threatened to hold thousands of foreign citizens hostage within the Scanian country, and which was withdrawn only a day later, has diplomatic consequences. While Vestrland has still given no reasonable explanation as to why this measure was enacted by decree, it has apologized to numerous European countries that had harshly criticized the measure - with the notable exception of Carentania. Vestrlands ambassador was summoned, receiving an official note of protest by the Commissariate for Foreign Affairs, which stated in a press release that Vestrlands choice of words was intended to be an insult to the socialist world.

A small uproar gripped downtown Rijeka this morning, as rumours were spread of a woman having seen famous Carentanian starlet Maja Kosi shopping on the Dunay avenue. Maja Kosi went missing last year during a hiking trip in the Haemian mountains and is presumed death, but missing confirmation of an accident in the wilderness has caused numerous rumours and conspiracy theories to spread. Several hundred fans gathered on the Dunay promenade in response to the reports, harassing female passersby to prove they are not Miss Kosi in disguise. The congregation was eventually dispersed by a local militia, which was alarmed by a frightened woman with superficial resemblance of Maja Kosi.

We would appreciate it if Commissar Jerman kept his deliriums and violent outbreaks to himself and possibly his psychologist. We have no interest in your so called "liberation" of Himyar and we will continue our holy task of bringing civilization to the Black Continent. Our differences with Portusgalia are none of your business. Furthermore we would appreciate it if you stopped seeing "insults to socialism" where there are none, a phenomenon obviously caused by your Paranoia. Finally we assure you that you will not find any reasonable regional partners wiling to assist you in kicking Europe's free nations out of Himyar and colonizing it yourself, which you call "freeing" it.

Imperial Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Lord Johann Odessof
